ABOUT COACH BRIAN:
Brian Eisenberg, 33, a native of Pikesville, Maryland, counts 2011 as his 5th year making lacrosse a living. A graduate of Chapman University in Orange, CA, Brian played both soccer and lacrosse there while working toward a B.S. in Accounting. After graduation, Eisenberg worked for a small motivational company in their accounting department for 4 years. In his 4th year, he also started working for the Anaheim Storm (National Lacrosse League) as their Equipment Manager from 2003 to 2005. All the while also volunteer coaching for Chapman Men’s Lacrosse team and serving as a youth lacrosse head coach for the Orange County Starz program. In this time, Brian also worked for a small company based in Oregon focusing on Nike Team Sales. Although the indoor pro lacrosse team folded in 2005, shortly after came the Los Angeles Riptide, the outdoor pro lacrosse team, in the summer of 2006, for which Brian became the team manager. Also in 2006, Brian was asked to be the controller of a small start up company, for which he accepted. In the winter of 2007, after leaving the small start up company, he started his own company, Olympian Lacrosse Consulting, which encompasses many aspects of the game of lacrosse, including private lessons, club teams and lacrosse camps. Eisenberg has been the head coach for Tesoro High School and Socal/Las Flores youth lacrosse for six years now. In the spring of 2008, Tesoro Varsity wrapped up the high school season, undefeated in league play. In the spring of 2010, Tesoro shared the South Coast League Title with San Clemente High School as they both went 9 - 1. The spring of 2009 was his first as a women’s lacrosse coach, for Chapman University, where he was honored as the WWLL Division II Coach of the year. The Chapman Women’s program recently won the 2011 WCLA Division II National Championship, where Brian earned the WCLA Division II Coach of the Year.
Brian married his beautiful wife, Katherine in September of 2007 and their family has been growing ever since as they now live with their daughter, Charlie May (12/27/09) and the best dogs ever, Hendrix and Muddy.

THE STORY BEHIND OLYMPIAN LACROSSE AND COACH BRIAN’S PHILOSOPHIES:
One of the main reasons Olympian Lacrosse Consulting was created was due to lack of options for club lacrosse, specifically in the Rancho Santa Margarita area that Brian was heavily involved with. Having been involved with the Starz Organization since its inception in 2004, he had a great experience with the OC Starz. However, when players did not have a great experience, there was no other alternative. It was because of this that Brian decided to start something separate than the OC Starz.
Today, there is a variety of options available for youth lacrosse players. Now it as important as it was from the beginning to make sure that the service Brian provides is consistently meeting the needs of everyone involved, including parents, players, coaches and himself.
One of Brian’s overall philosophies is to provide the best service that he can at all times and take any type of response as constructive criticism. Brian’s number one goal is to make the lacrosse community the best it can be. As the lacrosse community grows and parents are more confused, continuing to be bombarded with lacrosse information, this website is going to become the source of communication for lacrosse in Orange County.
Brian understands the importance of lacrosse players being multi sport athletes. College level lacrosse coaches are often looking for multi sport athletes. Brian feels it is important that kids play multiple sports to diversify their team oriented abilities. When Brian asked LA Riptide Coach, John Tucker, a former high school coach himself: “What do you feel is the best off season training for a high school lacrosse player?” his exact response was “play another team sport.” Brian considers lacrosse to be the mutt of all team sports. Playing lacrosse will help you improve in any other team sport you play, and playing another team sport should help you become a better lacrosse player.
